The 1st and 2nd grade Mandarin students had their first week of class. We focused on introducing the class routine that is conducted in Mandarin, and how we should treat the classmates so we can work well in the class. I also started to do a circle game to practice asking and introducing a person's name. Routine building and rote practice serve as a basic structure that we can add on to going forward. Each student started a file folder to organize their work. The sentence written on the cover is: "我叫......” The blank space is where the student's name goes.
